Art chose me; I am a self-taught aritist and my earliest memories are of drawing in the high-chair. I attended formal painting classes with my aunt Martha before kindergarten. Since then I have been painting and exhibiting accross the United States. Recently a painting of mine was chosen for a special exhibition: Manifest Hope at Irvine Contemporary Art, LLC in Washington DC for the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
For 13 years I created murals for businesses and residential clients, while I enjoyed almost all the projects I needed more freedom for self expression, now I pursue a more personal vision.
Watercolor on paper and acrylic on canvas are the tools of choice to translate my personal narrative...but I have been know to take a photo from time to time.
